Taxpayers to take note that IRAS will be issuing the Notices of Assessment (NOAs) from May onwards. Those who are not on GIRO have up to one month from the date of the NOA to pay their taxes.

To encourage taxpayers to pay by GIRO, IRAS is offering cash prizes totalling $115,000, with a top prize of $30,000, in the “GIRO Your Tax” Lucky Draw to be held on 19 May 2012 at Ion Orchard. Taxpayers who sign up for GIRO before 30 April 2012 will qualify for the May lucky draw.
