Singapore’s Protocol to DTA with Portugal to enter into force on 26 December 2013

The Protocol to the standing Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation (DTA) between Singapore and Portugal was gazetted on 26 November 2013 and will enter into force on 26 December 2013. The provisions will take effect from 26 December 2013.

The Protocol was signed on 28 May 2012 and includes the internationally agreed Standard for the exchange of information for tax purposes.
