Casino Control (Amendment) Bill (No 28 of 2012) provides for consequential amendments to the Income Tax Act

First introduced in Parliament on 15 October 2012, the Casino Control (Amendment) Bill has provided for consequential amendments to the Income Tax Act (Cap 134) whereby the terms “junket promoter” and “junket” will be replaced with “licensed international market agent” and “casino marketing arrangement” respectively (Clause 119 of Casino Control (Amendment) Bill).
