A new Budget 2012 website has been launched by The Ministry of Finance (MOF) to obtain public views’ on taxes and public spending for Budget 2012. Feedback can be made through channels such as Facebook, Twitter, as well as discussion forums on REACH’s budget microsite.

Other than garnering feedback, activities such as the Budget Quiz 2012 and Budget Challenge 2012, which are open to the public and schools are also available. The former comprises seven mini weekly quizzes held every Wednesday starting from 4 January 2012 onwards, whereas the latter comprises two qualifying rounds, the preliminary round in mid-January and the finals in mid-March.

Those who wish to view past Budget Statements as well as an outline of the Singapore Budget process can now do so via the new website.
